February 5, 2009 - We live in age where as soon as a gadget or technology reaches mass attention and exposure, it's probably already about to be replaced by something new. The iPhone is a perfect example. The first iPhone was considered a major breakthrough in many areas of a traditional mobile phone, including the amount of time spent ignoring real world interaction in favor of texting and games.
The interface made users feel like they were handling space-age gadgetry, while the sheer amount of features lead many to believe that the original iPhone would have a long, extended shelf life. However, barely a year later, the iPhone 3G is released. Will the madness ever end? Will a bedridden Steve Jobs end this vicious cycle? Well, apparently not, as the electronics industry recently got wind of yet another iPhone iteration in the works, which could be released as early as this summer. Everything right now about a new iPhone exists in the rumor mill, but a little speculation never hurt anyone. Here's what we've heard so far about the potential iPhone: The Next Generation. Number One, engage!
